Dr. Angela Kade

Owner / Veterinarian

Hello, my name is Dr. Angela Kade. I’m originally from Columbus, Nebraska, and received my undergraduate degree in agriculture from University of Nebraska- Lincoln and DVM from Iowa State University in 2009.

After graduation, I worked in Dallas, Texas in emergency medicine and general practice, then returned home to Nebraska, and have been in the Omaha area since 2010.

My passions include pain management and managing chronic disease. I love to help ease stress for the cats who are most worried about leaving their kingdoms to come to the clinic, and helping rescued cats find loving homes.

Outside of taking care of cats, I enjoy spending time with my husband Matt and daughter Olivia. We share our home with our cats Lexi Lou and Logan and a hamster named Pickle.

Dr. Jennifer Tracy

Hello, my name is Dr. Jennifer Tracy. I graduated from UNL with my undergraduate degree in 1998 and then from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. So for anyone who asks, I am definitely a Husker, not a Wildcat. Sorry KSU fans. I have two children. They keep me busy all the time running to soccer and volleyball practices and games. In the little free time I have left, I love to read, draw, paint, refinish furniture, and pretty much anything crafty. I have two cats, Captain and Wendy. Captain is very smart and very food motivated, so he has been learning lots tricks. I feel that environmental enrichment and activity are essential to raising a healthy cat.

Dr. Virginia Miller

Dr. Miller earned her DVM from North Carolina State University. She and her wife moved to Omaha after both graduated in their respective fields. They share their home with their daughter, Jacky, two dogs, Finch and Ladybird, and three cats, Bogart, Yogi, and Boo Boo. Joining the team at Completely Cat Clinic fulfills a lifelong career goal of working in feline exclusive practice. In her free time, Dr. Miller enjoys live music, swimming, traveling, and any time spent in the mountains.

Mindy Taddei

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Hello, my name is Mindy. I was born and raised in a small farming community in Iowa. My mother was a nurse and my father farmed and ranched, then later became a big game hunting guide in Wyoming. My parents taught us to always respect and be kind to all walks of life.

My partner and I live in Iowa and share four children together. My passion for animals and animal welfare came at a young age. I became a Licensed Veterinary Technician in 2005, and started at the Completely Cat Clinic in 2020.

Whitney Farrell

Licensed Veterinary Technician

My name is Whitney Farrell and I am a veterinary technician. I have a bachelors degree in zoology from the University of New Hampshire and I earned my bachelors degree in veterinary nursing from Michigan State University in 2021 before moving to Omaha. While I like working with all animals, I especially enjoy cats. I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles with the help of my rescue cat, Squish. When I am not hanging out with my cat I like travel and spending time with friends and family.

Amy Dennis

Veterinary Assistant

Hello! My name is Amy and I’m just your typical cat lady, however, I do like to consider myself a
sane and sensible cat lady. 🙂

I got my BS from Iowa State University in 2010, getting a dual degree in Animal Ecology
emphasizing in Wildlife Care and Elementary Education emphasizing in Science; since
graduating I have pretty much consistently worked in the veterinary field. I have worked as a
veterinary assistant in different states across the Midwest and the South, but now that I call
Omaha home, I am in school to get my degree in veterinary technology so I can become a
licensed technician. Not only have I worked in different veterinary clinics I have also
worked/lived at a couple big cat sanctuaries in the Midwest; I even did a stint in Africa taking
care of lions.

I am truly passionate about, you guessed it, working with cats (although, I do really enjoy
working with exotics as well) and one of the things I enjoy most is making sure your cats have a
stress free visit as much as possible- did I mention I am fear free certified?
When I’m not working I spend most of my time at home with my 3 cats and 3 ferrets (who
basically think they are cats). Since I can never have enough cats in my life I also foster cats in
my free time. Cats are life.

Kathy Shemek

Veterinary Assistant

Hello, my name is Kathy. I retired from nursing after 43 years in human health care. I have two grown children and three beautiful grandchildren. My husband and I enjoy traveling to New York to visit family at every opportunity. I've been a receptionist at the Completely Cat Clinic for one year now and I thoroughly enjoy the new experiences I have each day. Client Greeter

Hello, my name is Dreamy. I enjoy cuddling up anywhere it's warm, whether by the front windows or in my heated bed. When I do come out to socialize it's usually to beg for food, or to steal human food when my two legged servants aren't looking. Even though I look angry, I'm really a nice lady, who's just looking for some canned food.
